Welcome to the Homepage for the Full-Scale Geotechnics Group

The Full-Scale Geotechnics Group investigates a broad range in the performance, behavior, and reliability of geotechnical materials and infrastructure, ranging from the dynamic and cyclic responses (e.g., liquefaction/cyclic softening) of soils in-situ and in the laboratory, foundations, and ground improvement methods. The group consists of graduate and undergraduate students in the School of Civil and Construction Engineering, and is led by Dr. Armin W. Stuedlein, PhD., P.E.(WA), Principal Investigator and Professor of Geotechnical Engineering. This website provides information about the research capabilities, focus, and the team comprising the Full-Scale Geotechnics Group at Oregon State University.
