===== Demo available: intelligent reasoning system =====
NARS (Non-Axiomatic Reasoning System) is an intelligent reasoning
system. It learns from its experience and can work with insufficient
knowledge and resources.
A Java applet version of NARS is now available at
http://www.cogsci.indiana.edu/farg/peiwang/NARS/.
There are examples in the web page that show how to represent various
kinds of uncertainty, such as randomness, fuzziness, and ignorance, in
a consistent manner, and how to carry out multiple types of inference,
such as deduction, induction, abduction, revision, analogy, relation
operation, new concept formation, and so on.
This demo needs JDK 1.1 (supported in Netscape 4.05 and Internet
Explore 4.0). You can either directly run it over the Internet, or
download a zip file (46K), then start it locally.
