This year my department has one opening at the junior or senior level. One
of the two areas in which we're looking for candidates is AI. Below is the

University of Wisconsin--Milwaukee
Computer Science

The Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science
at the University of Wisconsin--Milwaukee is seeking qualified
candidates to fill a tenure track faculty position at the Assistant
or Associate Professor level. Candidates should have outstanding
promise and a strong commitment to research as well as teaching.
In addition, senior candidates must have an established research
record. The areas of interest are Artificial Intelligence and
Computer Graphics, but exceptional candidates in the area of
Operating Systems will also be considered.

The Department offers B.S., M.S. and Ph.D. degrees, and currently
has strengths in a number of areas including Artificial Intelligence,
Computational Geometry, Cryptography and Data Security, Distributed
Systems, and Programming Languages and Software Systems. We are
committed to continuing the development of Computer Science at UWM
and establishing it as an outstanding program. UWM is located
in a pleasant residential neighborhood near the shores of Lake
