We are pleased to announce the start-up of a new quarterly journal
tentatively entitled "Genetic Programming and Evolvable Machines" that will
start publication in January 2000 with Wolfgang Banzhaf as editor-in-chief
under the auspices of Kluwer Academic Publishers.
Through an arrangement between the Genetic Programming Conference
organization and Kluwer Academic Publishers, all registered attendees of the
GECCO conference will receive a FREE one-year sbuscription to volume 1 (year
2000) of the new journal.
The GECCO conference is a combination of the Genetic Programming 1999
Conference (GP-99) and the International Conference on Genetic Algorithms
(ICGA-99) and will be held in Orlando on July 14 - 17, 1999 (Wednesday -
Saturday). In addition to 24 tutorials on Wednesday July 14, there will be
18 pre-conference workshops (including a PhD workshop) on Tuesday July 13 at
GECCO.
