    Applications are invited for a research fellowship position in the
    Department of Industrial & Systems Engineering at the National University of
    Singapore (NUS) to participate in a research project on Advanced Planning
    and Decision Systems. The project is funded by the Defense Innovative
    Research Program which fund innovative research with the potential to create
    significant value to the defence and security of Singapore.

    The research aims to develop a set of advanced computational techniques and
    algorithms that facilitate the building of advanced planning systems for
    allocation of resources and intelligent decision systems that are capable of
    responding to sensory inputs and providing optimal course of action to
    decision makers in an uncertain and dynamic environment. Participants in
    this project include engineers and operations analysts from the Singapore
    Defence Science and Technology Agency.

    Candidates for the positions should have a Ph.D. in either engineering,
    computer science, operations research, or a related discipline with strong
    background in optimization, probabilistic reasoning, and artificial
    intelligence.
