About Me

Hi. As you could probably tell, my name's Miles Drake. I'm a third year Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) student at Oregon State University. Within electrical engineering, I'm focused on digital and analog circuit design. But I am interested in all areas, especially those that have anything to do with Audio. I am a musician who plays guitar and keyboard and produces in ableton. I love all things music, especially when it involves technology

I am currently the vice president and treasurer of the Audio Engineering Club at Oregon State. It's a club that aims to bridge the gap between electrical engineering coursework and the creation of audio gear like synthesizers or guitar pedals. You can check out the club website here or you can take a look at some of the projects I've done with the club in the projects tab of this site.

I'm also in MECOP, a program that gives undergraduate engineering students the opportunity to go on two 6 month internships during their college career. The first internship I had was at Biamp Systems in Beaverton, Oregon. They make audio systems for conference rooms, stadiums, train stations and more. While I was there I worked on a raspberry pi type microprocessor development board for them. You can read about it in the projects tab. I learned a lot about high speed digital circuit design and a little bit about analog circuit design while I was there. My next internship will be at Planar Systems, starting in June 2022.

Anyway, thanks for reading. Feel free to check out my projects on the projects tab. Email me if you have any questions or concerns.
