ARTURO S. LEON
Assistant Professor, School of Civil and Construction Engineering, Oregon State University

Welcome to the research group of Dr. Arturo Leon. Our main research interests are on the areas of hydraulic transients (open-channel, pressurized, mixed flows and two-phase flows (air-water interaction)), stormwater management and modeling, computational hydraulics (CFD), real-time control of multi-objective and multi-reservoir systems under uncertainty, and physical modeling of hydraulic structures (e.g., fish passage, turbines, flood gates, flood control).

M.S. and Ph.D. Student Research Opportunities

We are currently receiving applications for FALL 2014. We are interested in top PhD Students from Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, Nuclear Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Civil Engineering (hydraulics). Please read more here.

Graduate Student Guidelines and Expectations: If you are considering joining this research group, please read the Graduate Student Guidelines and Expectations of this research goup here.
