CS 551. Programming Graphical User Interfaces
Syllabus - January 1997
Class sections are scheduled Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, but we will
not meet at every one of the scheduled times. Please note which days we will
and will not have class.
Reading assignments should be completed prior to the following day's
class, as lecture material will assume that you are staying up to
date. Readings are from the Nye and O'Reilly book, unless listed as
"Marcus, chaper N". To help you identify key points from the readings, a
series of self-study review questions are provided
with each reading assignment. You will not be asked to turn in solutions,
but these questions are "fair game" for tests.
The self-study exercises can be done either before
or after the reading assignment for the day. Individual links are provided to
each exercise.
