Downloading the Current Version of MQM

The most recent MQM Working Group version of MQM is on the ftp.nero.net anonymous FTP site, in the directory pub/pancake. The files are README.mqm and mqm.5.23.96.tar.Z

Instructions for downloading MQM:

An MQM installation requires the following software:
- Tk 3.6 (exactly)
- Tcl 7.3 (exactly)
- GNU gcc 2.5.2 or later
If you need to determine whether or not Tcl/Tk is installed on your system, click here.
If you need information on obtaining Tcl7.3/Tk3.6 or GNU gcc, click here.
See the MQM installation README.mqm file. Note: you can save this file using your browser's File menu.
Download the MQM compressed tar file.
- If you are running Netscape, this will retrieve the file mqm.5.23.96.tar.Z in your chosen directory. To uncompress and untar this file (assuming you have cd'd to the directory where it is located) type:
```
        Prompt> zcat mqm.5.23.96.tar.Z | tar -xf -
```
- If you are running Mosaic Version 2.6, this file will be uncompressed on the fly, and you will have to choose a file name (and directory location) for it. To untar this file (assuming you use its original file name, mqm.5.23.96.tar), type:
```
        Prompt> tar xf mqm.5.23.96.tar
```
Follow the instructions given in README.mqm.
