Younghoon Kwak uses

micro-PIV methods  to determine bubble slip velocities.

Dr. Pence found the answer to a heat transfer problem in nature.

Kent Enfield is working on a MATLAB program to optimize the fractal-like geometry for heat transfer applications.

Rebecca Cullion is working to quantify local void fraction in the fractal-like device using a Phantom v5.0 high speed camera.

Greg Mouchka uses

confocal microscopy and a dual dye configuration to

generate 3-D temperature profiles.
