Facilities

The Complex Fluids and Soft Solids Laboratory is located on the second floor of Gleeson Hall in rooms 204 and 210 on Oregon State University's main campus in Corvallis, Oregon. The laboratory spaces include two fume hoods, multiple optical tables, and several pieces of specialized equipment. Information about the various pieces of equipment available in our lab is listed below.

The Walker Group gained additional floor space in Gleeson Hall when the Johnson Hall was complete in fall 2016. Construction moved fast -- watch a time sequence of the progress here! Johnson Hall includes shared research neighborhoods as well as various support space.

A complete listing of our polymer characterization (molecular, rheological, surface, and thermal) and processing capabilities can be found on the Rheology Research Group website.
