Goals and Performance
My Experience
- My journey through the Computer Science program here at Oregon State University has been a tough but welcoming experience.
- I feel the efforts that the course has done so far in Inclusivity and Collaboration has proven fruitful. I felt included and pushed into a world I was not familiar with, I am a NMC major. The way C++ was taught allowed input from the instructor but aid from my classmates and support from my Teacher's Assistants.
- Forcing everyone through the steps of learning the basics to me was a helpful way to blend everyone's unique skillsets. The college of engineering has helped me feel accomplished when it comes to tackling new skills. My personal goal is to become more fluent in Python 3, and I know I will be able to achieve this goal, because of the support and abundant office hours available to me. I hope to be in my later years at this school a person that will be of help to a classmate in need. Most of the people I have interacted with in my classes are on the more introverted side. I hope to use my extraverteness to make sure everyone is welcomed and safe to ask any questions. I want to continue my professors "There is no stupid questions" mentality.
