Otso Barron
I am an undergraduate student studying computer science at Oregon State University interested in systems security.
Some of my highlights at OSU:
Projects
-
Extended GDB through the Pwndbg plugin to contextualize the actions of assembly instructions in x86, ARM, MIPS, and RISC-V. While stepping through a binary, there is now text that indicates the concrete actions that each instruction takes. Using emulation, it can display the results of future instructions that the process has yet to execute.
-
A self-proposed senior capstone project—a modern and open-source ICPC-style code judging platform with focuses on usability, extensibility, performance, and security.
