**This is the way we really intended to have you do it, but the other ways
below are also allowed.**

a chip (click on pile1), then select the pile (pile2) to which you want

-
2/2/01: Getting null pointer exceptions when you try and run your
program? Try commenting out all of the code in the init method (or

to you from the Applet class.

announced. The syllabus has been updated to reflect the new option.

1/27/01 (updated 1/28/01): Volunteer sought: Dr. Burnett is working on
a department committee that aims to encourage CS students to develop to
their full potential. Example ideas we are working on include a wide range
of ideas, from contests to more scholarship opportunities, etc. We really
need a freshman on this committee, preferably male (we already have
some female students on it), who views himself as an "A" or a "B" CS student.
The next meeting is Monday Jan 29, 3:30. If you would like to volunteer
and could attend a meeting at that time, please email me (burnett@cs.orst.edu)
as soon as possible with a sentence or two describing yourself.
Update: We have our volunteer for this now, thanks.
