    Prospective authors are invited to submit papers for presentation in any of
    the technical areas listed in the Technical Program Overview. A 2-3 page
    technical summary (1000+ words) indicative of the final paper content will
    be considered by the Program Committee when submitted by September 3, 2001
    according to the directions described at
    www.imaging.org/conferences/cgiv/authors.cfm. Authors can present their work
    as an oral paper, a poster or an interactive show. In case of interactive
    shows, the authors will need to bring their own equipment, e.g., computers,
    monitors etc. Final decisions on the presentation format (oral, poster or
    interactive show) are at the discretion of the Technical Program Committee.

    Papers presented at CGIV will be solicited for special issues of Journal of
    Electronic Imaging and Pattern Recognition Letters .
