level facilities, Guo-hong Hotel is exceptionally clean and cozy. It
is conveniently located on the main street of Beijing (ChangAn Avenue,
see sketch map below), with easy access to public transportations
(100m from subway station Mu Xi Di and some 25 bus lines) and within
walking distance to a shopping mall and a major shopping street (Xi
    Dan).

To facilitate efficient and reliable communication between/among
organizers and conference participants, the participants are advised
to stay close to one another. Therefore Guohong Hotel is strongly
    recommended.

How to Reach Guo-hong Hotel from Beijing Airport

The easiest way to get to the Guohong Hotel from the Beijing Airport
is to take a taxi at the cost of about 100 - 130 Yuan (=12-16 US$)
including 15 Yuan charged at a toll gate. (Note: please make sure that
the taxi driver gives you a receipt. If you feel that you are
overcharged, please go to the lobby of Guohong Hotel and find a
Conference staff, he/she will be happy to help you; or you may take
down the number of the cab and then report to the Conference staffs
who will determine whether you are being overcharged and, if so,
    suggest any recourse.)

An alternative is to take the airport shuttle bus (destination Xi
Dan) at the cost of 16 Yuan (2 US$); upon getting off at the final
stop (Xi Dan), take a taxi to the hotel for about 10 Yuan(1.2 US$).

For your convenience, you may print the Chinese phrase and/or sketch
    map at http://www.iccs2001.com/html%20files/hotel/hotel.htm for the
direction to the hotel and show it to the taxi driver.

The Conference staffs will be present at the Beijing Airport on
August 25 and 26 from 9:00 am through 10:00 pm to assist with local
    transportation.
