Professor Ullman is an active mechanical designer with many products currently on the market. He is a registered professional engineer in two states. Additionally, he actively consults on the design process and CAD with Lucent, Freightliner, AutoDesk, NexPrise and SDRC. Past clients have included Schlumberger, HP, Mentor Graphics, Tektronics, SDRC and others. He has industrial experience in the design of fluid/thermal, control and transportation systems.

support. .
In 1993 he was co-founder of
BikeE Corporation, producer of
semi-recumbent bicycles. This company
is the largest producer of recumbent bicycles in the world. He was
co-designer of the original product and is currently active in designing
new products. BikeE products are sold nationwide and are considered to be a
new advance in bicycling comfort
In 1998 he co-founded Camas Inc with Professor Bruce D’Ambrosio
and Dr. Jane Jorgensen. This company
specializes in the development of software to support decision making.
