I just had a couple more requests for the tutorial on Learning Probabilistic Networks
I wrote some time ago (with a lot of help from David Heckerman). This reminded me
to mention that this manuscript is now available on the UAI tutorial web page (with
thanks to the AUAI):
http://www.auai.org/auai-tutes.html
If you have got an original copy, and are likely to look at it again, please take time
to download the copy on the tutorial page as it is slightly revised correcting some
sloppy bits from me (I was getting tired!).
Please also remember that this is only meant to be an introductory overview,
for a reasonably wide readership, and you will need to look at the other papers
on the UAI list for more technical detail.
However, if you _do_ want to cite it anywhere, please refer to:
Knowledge Engineering Review, 13(4), 1998, to appear.
Many thanks for you interest!
Paul
