Welcome to the Coastal Water Resources Research Group in the School of Civil and Construction Engineering at the Oregon State Unviersity. We study the transport of mass, momentum, and energy at the intersection of freshwater and marine environments. We are primarily interested in a basic understanding of the physical processes that shape these environments and their evolution through time, but we also collaborate extensively with ecologists and other scientists in order to understand the linkages between physical and ecological processes.  Finally, we work on novel measurement techniques to improve our ability to sample these environments.

At this site, you will find information about the research and educational activities of our group, as well as recent publications related to our work.  Enjoy your visit and please contact us with any inquiries or requests for additional information.
