Welcome to the Homepage for the Full-Scale Geotechnics Group

The Full-Scale Geotechnics Group investigates a broad range in performance, behavior, and reliability of geotechnical materials and infrastructure, ranging from the inherent variability and dynamic response (e.g., liquefaction/cyclic softening) of soils in-situ, shallow and deep foundations, and ground improvement methods. The group consists of graduate and undergraduate students in the School of Civil and Construction Engineering, and is led by Dr. Armin W. Stuedlein, P.E.(WA), Principal Investigator and Professor of Geotechnical Engineering. This website provides information about the research capabilities, focus, and the team comprising the Full-Scale Geotechnics Group at Oregon State University.
