12/26/2023: Professors Ching, Phoon, Yang, and Stuedlein are awarded the 2022 Best Paper Award for their paper "Quasi-site-specific multivariate probability distribution model for sparse, incomplete, and three-dimensional spatially varying soil data," in the Journal Georisk.

8/30/2023: Professors Liu, Liu, Stuedlein, Evans, and Xiao are awarded the 2023 Fredlund Award by the Canadian Geotechnical Society for their paper "Strength, stiffness, and microstructure characteristics of biocemented calcareous sand," in the Canadian Geotechnical Journal.

7/14/2023: Professor Stuedlein, Dr. Jonathan Huffman, Professor Barbosa, and Dr. Belejo are awarded the 2023 J. James R. Croes Medal by the American Society of Civil Engineers for their paper "Probabilistic Structural System Response to Differential Settlement Resulting from Spatially-Variable Soil," in the Journal of Geotechnical and Geoenvironmental Engineering.

1/22/2018: Dr. Stuedlein receives the 2017 ASTM Award for Outstanding Article on the Practice of Geotechnical Testing his paper “Development and Implementation of a High-Pressure, Double-Acting, Bi-Directional Loading Cell for Drilled Shafts,” co-authored with colleagues from South Korea.
