Check out the the College of Engineering's 2020-2025 Strategic Plan to learn more about the approach Oregon State is using to help students achieve their goals.
The College of Engineering faculty is very helpful in working with one to plan out what comes next. This is not only limited to courses but also with internship opportunities or fairs which could be beneficial. Faculty also stresses the imporantance of collaboration and teamwork, which is ultimately something very important in the engineering field.
For those who may have started college late or have had to deal with issues during college, like myself,
the College of Engineering understands that life outside of education is sometimes more important to deal with.
It is for that reason that, so long as one is willing to learn and grow, faculty is more than happy to work
with one to accomidate for breaks. As a whole, the College of Engineering understands that a student's mental health is key
to their success, and takes steps to ensure all students feel safe, welcome and involved. This responsibility is
not solely with them however, but also with the students, the faculty and the commmunity as a whole.
