About Thinh:  

If you are familiar with Carl Jung's work, I am between ISTP & INFP, i.e. an introvert in both thinking and feeling according on a personality test I took in college. But I think my highschool teacher knew me better as he once said, "pay attention and stop daydreaming in the class". To many people, I appear to be relatively efficient and practical, I am nevertheless an Idealist, a Romanticist, and a Daydreamer since I sometimes lose myself for hours pursuing inconsequential thoughts. I believe in optimistism and living life to the fullest. Here are my favorites:

Colors: Blue - the color of the "Sea", and all the M&M colors together in one place.

Movies: The Legend of 1900, Lovers on the Artic Circle, Chocolat, Cinema Paradiso, La Vita e Bella, Lord of the Rings, Dr. Zhivago, Casablanca, The Sound of Music, The Matrix, ... I like poignant, thought-provoking movies.

Books: Godel Escher Bach , The Emperor's New Mind , War and Peace, A Natural History of Senses. It's strange for a guy, but I read all of Jane Austin's books. I was also intrigued by existentialism after reading The Stranger by A. Camus and All the Chips Are Down by J. Sartre.

Music: Chopin, Brahm, Liszt, Debussy ... I play violin and piano and am an amateur composer. My works reflect a blend between romantic classical and new age.

Hobbies: Beside books and music, I enjoy writing essays, poems, and letters. I also enjoy photography , tennis, hiking, traveling to exotic places, and I am happiest when I am with Sea.

Education: B.S, U.Washington, M.S. and Ph.D., UC. Berkeley, all in Electrical Eng. and Computer Science. I went to Chief Sealth H.S, but didn't get a diploma.

Occupations: Paperboy, dishwasher, assembler, data entry, tutor, engineer, researcher, professor.  

About Sea:

I believe that a marriage should last a life time especially having my grandmother as my role model. She lost her husband when she was twenty-eight and she never remarries.  For people who knew me well, they said that I’m optimistic, idealistic, easy going and great with kids. On the other hand, I've been told I am somewhat  procrastinated and I sometimes need an extra push to get things done.

Colors: I can’t imagine life without color and my favorite is baby blue with a hint of algae green - the color of my nick name “Sea”.

Movies: The red violin, La Vita e Bella, Sound of Music, Lord of the Rings, and most of Disney animated movies since I’m very much a kid at heart.

Books: I read very few books during my younger years.  Lately, my favorite books  are Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austin and Harry Potter by J.K Rowling.

Music: Classical, new age, oldies, romantic Italian songs.   Especially, I love to listen to Thinh pouring his emotions onto the piano/violin late into the nights.

Hobbies: Gardening, flower arrangement, singing, playing with Thinh’s nieces - Audrey and Adele. Occasionally, I like to read science magazines such as Nature, Scientific American, and Discover. I also like outdoor activities such as picnics, camping, hiking, volleyball, and tennis. Like Thinh, I like to visit exotic places, and am happiest  when I’m with him.

Education: I earned my bachelor degree and currently working on my master in Biological Science.

Occupations: Tutor, assembler, pharmacy technician, data entry, lab technician, teaching assistant, researcher.
