Participation

Our participation in the Product Delivery Process is vital to its development and implementation at Xerox.

Since the process is evolving from groups within D&M, the refinement of PDP depends on our input. Our responsibility is to understand and use PDP in our work, to carry out our role as both a supplier and customer within PDP while understanding and relating to the responsibilities of our teammates. Through our involvement with PDP, we will learn new techniques and develop new skills to use on the job while also applying our experience with Leadership Through Quality in language and principle.

Our work is cut out for us in the months and years ahead. We will use the knowledge that exists today and our feedback will be incorporated to improve the process as time goes on. This "evergreen" approach will include tracking what works in the process and making changes for further improvements. Each new program is an opportunity to improve the process for delivering products that meet QCD targets and, even more importantly, deliver leadership products to our customers.
