- Research positions are available for bright, self-motivated, and hard-working students and postdoctoral researchers on various topics at the intersection of computing systems, machine learning, and natural language processing. Research topics include (but not limited to): machine learning accelerators and applications; large language models; AI-assisted design for computer architecture; energy-efficient CPU and GPU designs; hardware/software co-optimization for embedded, wearables, and Internet-of-Things (IoT) systems; and novel computing systems for HPCs, data centers.

While preference will be given to applicants with strong background in mathematics, programming, computer systems, or machine learning, exceptional applicants in all related areas will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Graduate and undergraduate students already at Oregon State University can also drop by my office to discuss the possibility of working with me.
